Refund Policy

1. Overview

At BrainBuzz Academy, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on subscriptions and purchases made on our Platform.

2. Subscription Plans (BrainBuzz Pass)

7-Day Refund Window: We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase for all subscription plans (BrainBuzz Pass, UPSC Pass, and BrainBuzz Ultimate), subject to the following conditions:

• The refund request must be made within 7 calendar days from the date of payment
• You must not have attempted more than 5 tests during this period
• The refund request must be submitted via email to brainbuzzacademy@gmail.com

After 7 Days: No refunds will be issued after the 7-day window has passed. This is because digital content, once accessed, cannot be “returned” in the traditional sense.

3. Individual Course Purchases

For individually purchased video courses or test series (not through subscription):

• Before accessing content: Full refund available within 7 days of purchase
• After accessing content: If you have watched less than 20% of course content, a refund minus a 20% processing fee will be issued within 7 days of purchase
• After 7 days or 20%+ content accessed: No refund will be issued

4. Free Content

Free tests, quizzes, and study materials do not involve any payment and therefore are not subject to refunds.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

• Send an email to brainbuzzacademy@gmail.com with the subject line “Refund Request”
• Include your registered phone number and name
• Provide the transaction ID or payment receipt
• Mention the reason for requesting a refund

Our team will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.

6. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved:

• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during purchase
• UPI and wallet refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days
• Credit/debit card refunds may take 7-10 business days depending on your bank
• Net banking refunds may take 5-7 business days

You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

7. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

• Refund request made after the 7-day refund window
• Account suspended or terminated due to violation of Terms and Conditions
• Dissatisfaction with exam results (we do not guarantee any specific outcomes)
• Inability to access the Platform due to issues on the user's end (internet connectivity, device compatibility, etc.)
• Change of mind after the refund window has passed
• Purchases made during promotional or discounted pricing (unless explicitly stated otherwise)

8. Technical Issues

If you experience technical issues that prevent you from accessing paid content (such as server downtime, bugs, or payment processing errors), please contact us immediately. We will either resolve the issue, extend your subscription period by the duration of the disruption, or issue a pro-rata refund at our discretion.

9. Cancellation of Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time. However, cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access to paid content until the end of your current subscription period
• No further charges will be applied after cancellation
• Auto-renewal (if applicable) will be stopped

10. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account and contest the chargeback. We encourage you to reach out to us directly to resolve any billing concerns.

11. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. The policy applicable to your purchase is the one in effect at the time of your transaction.
