వార్తల్లో ఎందుకు?
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం విద్యా శక్తి పేరుతో ఒక ప్రత్యేకమైన ఆన్‌లైన్ రీమిడియల్ ప్రోగ్రామ్‌ను ప్రారంభించింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమం స్లో లెర్నర్స్ (మందగమనం గల విద్యార్థులు)కు అదనపు బోధన అందించి, తరగతి సహచరులతో సమాన స్థాయిలో చేరేందుకు సహాయపడటమే లక్ష్యం.
విద్యా శక్తి యొక్క ముఖ్యాంశాలు:
గమ్య గుంపు:
ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలలు మరియు కళాశాలలలో 6వ తరగతి నుంచి 12వ తరగతి (10వ తరగతి మినహా) వరకు ఉన్న విద్యార్థులు.
అమలు:
పాఠశాల అనంతర సమయాలలో ఆన్‌లైన్ తరగతులు నిర్వహించబడతాయి.
గణితం, సైన్స్, మరియు ఇంగ్లీష్ వంటి ముఖ్యమైన సబ్జెక్టులపై ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధ ఉంటుంది.
పైలట్ ప్రాజెక్ట్:
ప్రస్తుతం గుంటూరు మరియు చిత్తూరు జిల్లాలలోని 78 సంస్థలలో (29 జూనియర్ కాలేజీలు సహా) అమలులో ఉంది.

డిజిటల్ కోఆర్డినేటర్లు:
‘డిజిటల్ అక్కలు’ అనే టెక్-సావీ టీచర్స్ ఈ ప్రోగ్రామ్‌లో సమన్వయకర్తలుగా వ్యవహరిస్తారు.
ఈ తరగతుల నిర్వహణలో విద్యార్థులు, టీచర్లు, మరియు సాంకేతిక బృందాల మధ్య వారధిగా పనిచేస్తారు.
మానిటరింగ్ మెకానిజం:
బేస్‌లైన్ పరీక్షలు, వారాంత మైక్రో-అసైన్మెంట్లు, మరియు డేటా విశ్లేషణ ద్వారా విద్యార్థుల పురోగతిని గుర్తిస్తారు.
ప్రత్యక్ష ప్రయోజనాలు:
విద్యార్థుల అభ్యాసతీరును మెరుగుపరచడం.
డ్రాప్‌ఔట్ రేటును తగ్గించడం.
రాష్ట్రంలోని విద్యా సంస్థలలో స్థూల నమోదు నిష్పత్తి (GER)ను పెంచడం.
ఈ పిలాట్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ విజయవంతమైతే, ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఇతర జిల్లాలకు కూడా విస్తరించే అవకాశం ఉంది. విద్యా శక్తి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వ శ్రద్ధను ప్రదర్శిస్తుంది, విద్యార్థుల సాంకేతికత ఆధారిత పద్ధతులతో అభ్యసనానికి మద్దతు ఇస్తూ వారి విద్యా లక్ష్యాలను సాధించేందుకు దోహదపడుతోంది.

'Vidya Shakti'
Why in the news?
The Andhra Pradesh government has launched 'Vidya Shakti,' an online remedial program designed to support underperforming students in government schools and colleges.
Key Features of 'Vidya Shakti':
Target Group: Students from Classes VI to XII (excluding Class X) in government institutions.
Implementation: Conducted online after school hours, the program utilizes a hybrid digital model to provide extra coaching in core subjects like Mathematics, Science, and English.
Pilot Phase: Currently implemented in 78 institutions, including 29 junior colleges, across Guntur and Chittoor districts. 
Partnership: Developed in collaboration with IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, leveraging their expertise in digital education.
Trained Facilitators: Tech-savvy teachers, referred to as digital 'akkas' (sisters), have been trained to act as coordinators, ensuring smooth operation of digital classes and serving as a bridge among teachers, students, and technical teams.
Monitoring Mechanism: The program includes baseline tests, weekly micro-assignments, and data analysis to track student progress and improvement trends.
The initiative aims to enhance learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates, and improve the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in the state's educational institutions. Based on the success of the pilot phase, there are plans to expand 'Vidya Shakti' to other districts in the future.
This program reflects Andhra Pradesh's commitment to leveraging technology and innovative teaching methods to support students who need additional academic assistance, ensuring they can keep pace with their peers and achieve their educational goals.
